I am doing a frame off restoration on my 65 F100. I am replacing all the suspension bushings.
The original radius arm bushings were half worn away, and I have read that this was a problem so I ordered a Moog "Improved Design Radius arm Bushing" Kit. (MOOG Part # K8295)
Has anyone installed one of these kits. It came with no instructions, and it seems as if they could be installed a few different ways.
Thanks, Doug
I haven't installed the MOOG ones, however I did the Energy Suspension ones, the biggest rubber goes on first, with a washer before it, then through the bracket on the frame, then the smaller piece. Not sure on the plastic spacer ring,,, I would try it on either side and see... just a side note, make sure you have the whole I-Beam and radius arm assembly unbolted from the axle pivot. You do have new axle pivot bushings also,,, correct.
