If it still runs fairly well I wouldn`t mess with it till I really had to unless you plan to put alot of miles on it soon. It could be ok for years to come yet.
Lol I was also under the impression that it was bout to crap out, no motor is going to run like it did ten years ago (giving that it has been driving). Maybe just fix your oil leak, use some seafoam on her and drive it. Maybe tune it up change the fuel filter, ect..
The bad part about the oil leak(s) is i am fairly sure I should yank the engine and do the seals too. The oil pressure isnt the same as it used to be either.
When I first got the truck I was really hard on it. Won alot of races, and didnt change the oil alot, I would love to show the truck SOME limited love lol. Might look at SGI salvage when I have time and try to get a lower mileage one.
Eventually my old 302 will be up for grabs minus some parts that are needed for my 5.4L build. When I'm swapping parts it would be easy to bolt on your truck parts. I would have a little bit of a rough idle due to the mustang cam.
I'll probably sell the mustang intake setup separate.
