I am looking at getting an 01 x 4x4 with 90k on it f0r 20k. The truck runs great but the owner has a 5.5 inch lift with 20 inch rims. The truck seems to bounce over speed bumps. On smooth roads it rides great on rough roads its bounces.
The bouncing and rough ride from the lift or do i need better shocks?
What are the best shocks for these truck to get a nice ride?
Whats the best power upgrade to do?Which computer? I am also going to do an exhaust.
What changes are there between the 01 to 05's besides the tranny and engine?
Are there any problems or anything specfic I should look for on an 01 x?

If you are going to keep the lift on the vehicle I would replace worn shocks with Bilsteins.
There are lots of things you can do to lifts to "modify" they way they feel.
What brand is it, you got photos's of all of the components?
