Hey all, I know this gets asked a lot so I'll make it quick: I've searched everywhere but can't find what axle code 11 should be for a '79 F100. Here is a shot of my door plate. Any ideas?
Hi Mil1on, when you say it is a later code, what do you mean specifically? And why is it not in the standard charts? Is this a Ford axle? Any other info you could give me would be really helpful.
Last question - I didn't see a table for transmissions; could you help me out with the K on my plate? It looks like a C6 but I want to make sure.
hey, i have a 79 f150. and the thing on my door said h9. so my gear ratio would be 4.11 but how can i tell what kind of axle i have? is it the 9 inch or the dana 44?
Cdan if it a drop out center section from the front, it's a 9", if it has a rear cover it's a Dana, or on 8.8 if from a newer truck. Pictures really help a lot.

H9= Limited slip Ford 9" 4.11 ratio 3,750 lb capacity

i pretty much blew up my differential yesterday. haha oh well.
