I am working on the interior of my truck and have some questions. My truck has been inoperable for many years and I am not sure what goes in some locations, etc.
1.) What is this that is mounted on the ceiling of the truck?
2.) What are each of these holes in the dash for? I assume one of them is for the keys/ignition, but what about the rest?
3.) What is this? It looks like a valve stem for air.
Lastly, I am going to install a stereo in this truck, probably will mount the unit in the glove box so it is not seen. Does anyone have any idea where I could mount 4 speakers so that they will sound okay not be in the way? I was thinking that I could mount two under the dash by the firewall. Or maybe forward of the doors on the side panels?
Could you mount 2 next to the back rest on the seat somewhere?
Also, here is a link with an idea for mounting your stereo. The speakers are mounted in the kick panels and there is a box built above the windshield to contain the stereo equipment. Or, maybe that is not what is going on there.
