Is PS Pump a GM part?
In the process of replacing the power steering pump on my '88 7.3L, supply house could not match old unit. Finally someone suggested old unit could be a GM type. Help please.

it should be equipped with what is called a c-2 pump there were different fittings through the years you may have one from another year model crossed onto the vehicle does the hose have a protruded fitting with an oring on it or is it a standard flare fitting
