i would be driving through that garage door, then pulling a huge tree over one the remnents. :P

i am still without power in manhattan. it amazed me how GOOD the roads were yesterday afternoon. it was like 39 degrees and all slushy.

my truck has been idling in the yard most of yesterday powering my tv and fridge. hopefully tonight ill be back. im 2 blocks away from campus and capus has power. so ill work at campus today and enjoy the heat.

lost power here for most of yesterday. Got up yesterday to no power so figured I had to hook the generator up, nope someone had stolen it. Headed to Topeka to try and get another one and ran into Mark who was out looking for a generator too. Finally went to HD and a truck had just came in with more generators so we each bought one. Just got through the checkout and loaded up when Lisa called and said the power was back on at the house. LOL Went ahead and Helped Mark get his hooked up and working at his house then headed home. Still got power today.

little basterds.

i do have to admit, i stole last night. my friend and i went to his neighbors to get some wood. knocked and noone answered, and we were cold. so we nabbed 4 peices of wood off his pile to light the stove with. neither one of us had needed to use fire since we have lived in hattan, so we have none on hand.

Hope you get power soon Matt. Been without it for a week before but that was in the spring from a tornado. Hope your pipes don't freeze.

We have been without power at our house since 1030 monday night which really sucks been using the stove to keep the house warm and the wood burning stove that is in the basement to keep the pipes thawed. Gets dark really early and bed time comes earlier too ha ha....Have two kids that aren't digging it much though. Our yard looks like a tornado went through literally. I will have to take some pictures.

First an inch of ice now 5" to 9" inches of snow? Wow that will make clean up rather difficult huh. I really need to get my mower running so I can blade the drive way after all this hits.
