This is about that size. And I'm gonna try to put a rack on the front for taller items. Kind of hard to tell folks about with out pic's though.

You could maybe do how the army has their setup with tubing and put a tarp on it too just a thought tho.

I was able to get outside in this good weather today. I drilled the other 8 holes on the base frame. Did a bit more grinding. And I bolted it to the trailer. Something must be wrong cause all the bolts went through the holes. Guess I was able to mark where the holes needed to be and kept the drill bit from walking this time. Now I just need to get some more metal for the box frame and the rack frame for the front. Get some plywood or something for the floor and sides. And I have sone 1" square tude for cross supports to have welded to the base frame after I decide what I'm gonna do with the floor. Then clean it all up and paint it. Pic's this time. First one is the wood flat bed I removed. Second one is the base frame I cut and had welded. Third pic is the base frame bolted to the trailer.

Did some dinking around out in the garage today and found the problem with my 4 Runner (I hope). When I have the cam lined up on the timing mark the crank timing mark is about a half an in off. No I am just waiting on parts. Parts list is pretty big this time.

Ok riddle me this. My timing mark on the cam lined up and the bottom being off 1/2 inch to the right i should just be able to take off my cam sprocket and line it up as long as I am on the compression stroke i should be fine right????? This would fix the timing jump right?

JJ I'm not the one to ask, but it sounds logical to me... CLint or Duane? Lynn?

I guess I'll have to post a few picks of the trailer I'm doing too.

Hey anybody heard from lynn Lately? Hadn't heard anything since he was putting in a new garage.

One of the things that jumped out at me was how easy it was for the guy with jumped time and how the guy who was off on his new chain had to release the cam tensioner to get it to move.

I would bet if it is that easy to move it's time for a new chain and gear set. A good chance it'll jump again.

No you pull the sprocket all of the way off with the chain tensioner released (engine crank turned counter clockwise) then move the chain and replace the sprocket and re-engage the tensioner. My chain was tight when I got it back on. I am going to try this before I change the chain because I would have to pull the head to do it because it sits on the timing chain cover.

This one you wont have to worry about the foreign small areas to work. I have to sell it since i blew all of my tax money that I had saved up. April is comming up really fast....here is what it is...
1984 Toyota 4Runner, 9" Lift, 38.5" boggers, chrome wheels, 10,000lb winch, 327 bored to a 355 w/dome pistons, edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb, 700 R4 Tranny w/2000 stahl, 208 Transfer case, (less than 1,000 miles on rebuilt motor/tranny/transfer case), alum. radiator, street legal, spedometer is dialed in, everything works, custom guages, b/m ratchet shifter, sweet ride, orange, custom front/rear bumpers,

Naw. My Sploder "Green" with 33's is hard enough for me to get in and out of. This is just a little trailer I bought just for the trips like I'm doin in April. We'll be out in the desert for a week and I need the trailer to carry extra fuel, water, and firewood for everyone. The back of Green will be loaded with camping gear and stuff for two weeks out in Utah. And I may have a passanger/co-driver so I'll may need room in Green for his`stuff also.

Sounds like a good deal though for truck.
