Leaking Gas
My truck is leaking gas all over the place. I have an 300 '89 with a 5-speed and 4wd. I can't seem to locate the source of the problem. I have two tanks and the gas is leaking in the front of the tank that is closest to the cab. There are no loose hoses and the tank isn't cracked or anything but you can see (and smell) the gas dripping out. I am worried about the fire hazard and only getting 88 miles for a full tank. Any ideas?
Also, when i switch to the auxiliary tank the fuel gauge shows it being empty. This has been the case since i got the truck, but i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this.

Leaking Gas
Sounds like your work is cut out. I'd drop the tank(s) and check the condition of the fill tube, vent tube, sending unit and relief valve. It's always a pain to drop a tank, but nice to have it hold a full tank and not eat away your drive.
