turns of thread

What year did Ford put more turns of thread in the 5.4L 2V heads? I'm looking at a used 01 Supercrew with 80k on it, and I'm wondering about the threads issue.

My 01 has 74K on it with no problems. The heads didn't get more threads until sometime during the 2003 model.
I wouldn't be scared of it.

i also hav a 01 with 150,000k on it and she runs like i just drove it outta the dealership new!

Thanks for the info, but I guess I missed the truck by a day. They sold it yesterday

I found an 01 screw 4x4 XLT with 84k on it....It is clean clean clean!! I'm sure I'll be asking some questions down the line.
