Premium Sound

I have the "premium" sound system in my 01, does that mean that it has an amplifier somewhere?

No external amplifier on the "premium" sound system. Premium simply means more features than the standard radio.

on my '98 i have the premium system that has an amp inside the dash behind the radio, they may have changed things since then tho.
