Well if the weather holds on to be good this weekend I think I will be bringing the grandkids race cars over to Portland, give them alittle seat time before the season starts up.
hi allen,
oh, over to pir? that would be cool. a little seat time is a good thing, i'd like to get our
cars ready to race this year. but i think we're going to sit this year out. due to time and finances! beside last weekend would have been good.
No, not at PIR, the kids race a Appenrose Dairy out in Beaverton. Got 4 cars this year, with 2 new beginers that I have to check out in the cars before they start trainning in March. And we are going to look into a place we can keep the race trailer and the Bronco, so we don't have to drive it back and forth. It cost about $140 a weekend to drive, so renting a place will be cheaper.
hi guys,
i didn't know, beaverton had a race track.i have heard of st.helens river city speeway,
sunset speedway in banks, lebanon. and madras, and pir here in portland. and the old portland speedway. and i forgot south sound in washington.
hi customcab66.we were just talking about racing, me and my wife drive stock car.
and we pit crewed for my neighbor and his limited late model stock car. at south sound speedway this year. the last few years raced at river city speedway up in st.helens.
The Appenrose track is for 1/4 midgets, kids race cars. The kids race from age 5-16. Customcab66 and his brother rdendy, my sons, have 6 of my drivers, ages 5-8. Track is 1/20th of a mile.
