I been hearing, off and on when I first start the truck and go about 200 feet a clunk noise and can feel it on the floor. Has anyone else experienced this? I check the wheel locks and they aren't engaged. I am ot sure what it could be. I thought maybe it something with the door locks because they seem to lock automatically at the same time.
Is your defrost on when it does that? My 03 does that when the defrost is on when the truck is started, my dads 2000 did the same thing, not sure whether his 08 does it or not though.
Mine does the same thing and I'm wondering if its related to the A/C. When you defrost, the A/C is activated. Mine has a clunk too. When I turn off my auto climate control, it stops. It's a very noticeable clunk, that to me, sounds as if it is coming from the engine compartment but it could be elsewhere. I don't think anything is broken, but you feel it when it "clunks".
Just ran a trip to Florida with 46ft race car trailer. I installed Edge juice with attitude and ran it in the tow mode. The truck finally had all the power I would need, but the mileage is still down in the 5.5 to 6.1 range. I did notice on the moniter that the truck is running in the regen mode approx 70% of the 2000 mile trip. I am heading to the dealer today to see what we can do about it. The truck also developed a rattling noise under the hood that seems to be related to 20lbs of boost or more.
I own a 08 F350 crew cab, and I get the same "clunk", but it sounds like a door or a "gate" on the heating/cooling system closing..........With some force. Only does it once.

This is what I hear as well but mine does it multiple times. Mine is related to the heating cooling system when in auto. Turning it off, it stops.
