no spark condition
i have a 1972 ford f-250 360 with no spark i put a new coil and still cant get nothing it has power with key on to the + side of the coil and to the - side of the coil can anyone help me thanks thanks Take Care God Bless LAter Lukas

Shay 5607; Welcome to the best Ford Truck web site; I'm sure someone will post shortly with a more indepth answer than mine; You mention you got power to your postive sign of your coil; but what's the volts of that power reading? I also would check the ground in your distributor to ensure its has a good contact; if you got a standard dizzy setup.
Hope this helps or atleast gets others to chime in with better mechanical answers. I'm just an old Shade tree Mechanic with alot of leaves missing. I wouldn't be surprize that someone hasn't chime in by the time I type this out.

If you put on a new fuel pump or the pump is dry, you may have to prime the pump. On my truck I have had to suck the fuel to the punp and fill the filter can with fuel before it would pump.

thanks for the info btw does any of yall have a way that i can make my altentor charge i have replace the wiring harness in the whole truck new wire to the altentor and new alt and new voltage reg any ideas anyone thanks Take care God Bless LAter Lukas
