no spark
coil sparked back into it self sence then i have no spark changed coile and icm from distributor changed eec relly still no spark .....
tested (-) side of coile light goes dimm dont know what to look for next????????????????????

Ok on your 1989 does the test light flash on the Neg side (-) of the coil (Tach side) while the engine cranks?
If not pull out the SPOUT jumper (shorting bar) and see if it flashes then.
If not replace the distributor or the PIP sensor (stator) inside of it.
If it does flash with the SPOUT out then you have bad wiring to the computer (shorted to ground) or a bad computer.
