What is the stock wheel width on a '02?

What is the stock wheel width on a '02? Its on a F250 4X4 Offroad, if that matters.

I installed a set of 285/75-16 BF Goodrich T/A KO's D ply. And when the first time I towed (10K) I was all over the road. I just want to make sure I have them on the right size wheel.

Thanks

Wheel width is either 7.5" or 8", can't remember for sure. However the 285's fit just fine on the stock wheel.

Check your tire pressure when towing. The BFG's get squirrely when there's not enough air and you are pulling a load.

I am running at max psi, 65. Looks to me like I am not running on the entire tread. Mainly 85% of the center of the tire. I am thinking I may need to come down on the psi.

LOL, I used to live in the armpit of Texas. Houston is where I was born and raised. So I've got the Texas roots, but now I get to play in the Rockies.

Yup, just talked to BFG, they said the only thing the tire shop should had put on there is an "E". I call the shop and they are going to replace them for $9 a tire. I am happy with that.

I am running 285 Yokohama A/T on stock rims. I have to run 55 psi in front and 50 in back to get an even wear pattern. Drives fine though. I up the pressure in the rear when I pull my fifth wheel camper.

Youll find the new tires will do the same. When I put my 285s on they were squirelly for the first couple hundred miles, till the tread wore even. Now they are fine. I run mine at 65psi.

Mine too. They are 285s. No squirrely feel to them at all, towing or not.

Mine are E also - When towing I run 80 rear and 65 front. No problems so far.
