Rear window weatherstrip
Thanks for the link Mil1lion. I would never have thought of the cord and been wondering how to attack this problem!

The old seal wasn't bad, just would rather have a new one. Different applications I have found out says 73-96 and others have 73-79 and 80-96. A bit confusing. I'll go with an 80-96 since that is where my window falls in. Thanks for the help.

Ford shows one part number for the sliding window 1973/79, a different part number for 1980/96.

This same molding was used on either the factory sliding window, or the stationary back glass.
