79 2wd tires

hey guys, was just wondering what some of you are running for tires on your 2wd f150s. ive got 31 x 10.5 in the rear and 235/75's up front. i want to put 31 x 10.5s up front as well. i would have to replace my front spring first but do any of you have 31's all around on your 2wd and if so do you have any clearance issuse up front?

I have 31x12.5x16.5 BFG's on my f-350 2wd and have no clearance problems at all. Stock height, wheels and everything.

Could put your back tires on the front and turn wheels side to side and check for clearance issues.

I have 255/70/16s on mine...these equate to a 30.5" tire... so about the same actual size as a 31-1050-15

I could easily fit 285/75/16s, and they are 33.5" tall

I have GenI Lightning wheels on my 79 and they will rub the radius arm at full lock.I try to be careful not to go all the way to the stops when I turn. The 275/60/17 on the L wheels are between 29"&30".
