Fuel filter drain help
I have a 1999 7.3 with 231000 miles. The water purge valve line is leaking fuel at cold start. I changed the fuel filter and purged the bowl. It still leaks, It seems to stop once the truck has warmed up. Thanks if anyone has any suggestions

That valve has two O rings that have issues with the new ULSD fuel. Ford sells a complete kit including the two piece valve and handle, two O rings, and 4 mounting screws. Others just find some new O rings, and only replace those.

like Gene said..it's the oring behind the drain valve..you can get some here or cheaper on e-bay if you look around..i see some this morning..a set of 2 for 3 bucks..he also has the valve as well..this is just the orings..
