Purge Procedure When Installing Fuel Pressure Gauge

I am about ready to install my fuel gage. My ITP fuel pressure adapter should be here tomorrow. I see the adapter hose has a schrader valve for purging air. Can anyone tell me if there is a recommended way to purge the air out of the adapter hose after the install.

If you have the factory fuel system just cycle the key about 3 times and on the last time hold the schrader valve open until it squirts a bit of fuel. I don't have a schrader valve and I've never had a problem with air in mine. Just make sure you're not pointing the valve at your face and wear safety glasses as the fuel will be coming at HIGH pressure.
