firewall insulation/noise deadening
Hi, I am going to bolt a bunch of stuff back onto my firewall this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has made a pattern for the firewall insulation for the inside of the cab, and if someone has if they my have done it on the computer and could send it to me! Or if someone has the dimensions. By the way i have a 1978 f150- 4x4, power brakes, heater, no a/c, and think that is it for accessories on the firewall

I have seen several trucks with either Rhino or similar spray on liners applied to the firewall and both sides of the floor and have been told it makes a big difference, I do not know this for fact but am only taking others words for it.
I am not promoting LMC truck parts but they have a firewall cover available for 73-79 abs with insulation attached with holes precut, part number 49-5985 for around 160.00
You might be able to google it and find more options.

The part number and picture of the one listed in lmc is a precut abs with insulation and the hole precut for the firewall components. 49-5985
They do also offer the roll stuff you have to cut further back in the catalog.

yeah i was gonna get some sound deading/insulation from napa, I my just pull the dash so that i can make it look good, seeing that i have no carpet the insulation will be kind of visible
