Does anyone know where to buy body mount brackets for a 76? The ones I have are pretty thin, I could rebuild them but would rather go with new ones.
Thanks
are you talking about the part that comes offf of the frame? or the sheetmetal part of the cab? if you need the pieces off the frame, you will need to have those made or get them off another truck. if you need the sheetmetal part of the floor, check out the sponsors.

Reason: added info
If you need the rear one all you have to do is measure and use a knock out. move them in to the cross member above the transfer case, don't waste time or money. That's all I did.
i know he's not a sponcer, but http://mtsalvage.com/ may have the frame mounts your looking for. i baught mine from him last year ( both front and rear crossmember ) as well as the upper shock mounts. used rust free parts at a reasonable price....i have some pics of them in my gallery...

Hey Hyperactive 460,
Thanks for the plug. I have been a sponsor for 5 or 6 months now.
I have the front cab frame perches for this highboy. I also have the rear cab mounting crossmembers for a standard cabs and one set of rear cab frame perches for the supercab. I have the front cab cuts off the bottom of the cab for all the cab types and rear cab mount cuts off the bottom of the standard cabs from cab corner-across the rear cab mount plate-to the other cab corner.
anytime mike, i knew you said that you were trying to get in as a sponcer, just didn't know you did. just gave you another plug this morning, hope you don't mind. i'm sure i'll be needing something in the future thanks for your help on my past purchases...andy
My highboy mounts saw the same problem with rusting out, and before I knew Mikes Truck Salvage existed, I had fixed mine. I have some pics in my gallery. But, If you can get them through Mike, I would go that way. With my repair, I'm sure I'll have to shim up the core support and the bed since there is an extra 1/8" steel I used for repair. Not much, but enough that will probably need to shim.
