The firewall insulation pad in my truck is really crappy looking and falling apart. My 79 has factory air, I was wondering what has to be removed from the inside firewall to install a new insulation pad?
Thanks , Gene
On my truck without A/C I had to remove the heater and the E-brake, and fuse panel.
Agree
There is a company making a formed one piece... That might take a little more..
Use non water trapping material... Dynamat etc.. Then use the insulation if you must.. Clean clean clean... By this point in dents lives there is crud and debris in this area..especially at seams that start rust magnets...
Making it nice...sign of true Ford craftsmanship
