I have read a thread or two about somebody having their truck burn to the ground. My firewall insulation is tore up from working on it and sagging a bit before I even started working on it. I even noticed smoke from under the hood a time or two but only a little but that's enough to scare me. Has this been recalled?
I have found this tape didn't order it yet it withstands 400 degrees constant heat and 2000 degrees radiant heat. I plan to use an adhesive on the back side as well. Just didn't want the thread to go to nowhere for future use. You are welcome future guy reading this after searching. Have a nice day

I used a 3M product when mine started to fall, worked good hasnet fell in over a year so far.
I actually found the cool tape and the company DEI makes a heat resistant adhesive I couldn't find the 3m stuff in a smaller package than a case of 12 for 90 dollars but I'm sure this will work found it all locally at pep boys.
