does the skyjacker just bolt up joe any mods you gotta make i've been looking and they run about $1600 for a 6 inch all springs is that about what you had to pay
it is direct bolt on, no modding, the rear springs get replaced, and a longer rear brakeline. the front springs get swapped, a new pivot bracket installed, longer front brake lines, and a drop pitman arm. my truck doesnt have sway bars, if yours does then you get longer end links as well. thats all there is to it. you can get the kits cheaper if you go direct through skyjacker, and check any local truck shows for a skyjacker vendor, they give big discounts. you will pay more for the rear spring lift, vs blocks but it is well worth it. my only problem with the lift is that i need traction bars to eliminate my first gear axle wrap, it is really bad up to 20 mph wide open but i dont want to buy the traction bar kits because they are so long and hang too low for my liking. i am going to make my own that will mount differently but i just dont have any time away from work.
oh and if you go with skyjacker, they arrent all parts for ever, no questions asked. we went 4 wheelin and my buddy broke his shock mount off, he called them up and they apologized for the failure and mailed him a new moutn free of charge
joe do you think i'll be able to run 37's with the 6 inch lift from skyjacker looks like your truck still has some room did you run 35's so you could still have lots of flex
