Got my X code front springs, bilsteins and new stabilizer links on today. I would have to say the ride is a little stiffer but not to much. The truck handles better, less body roll and no more clunk from the worn out links. The new springs raised the truck about 2", just a little bit lower in the front than the rear.
Thanks to you guys/gals for the advise on everything.
I put my code x front springs on acouple months ago and my front end is about 1 or 2 in. higher then the rear what can I do to fix that I dont like the look it looks like I have 5 yards of dirt in the bed. Any help would be great

The Yellow 4100 Bilsteins will work up to a 1-1/2" lift, I'm probably only 1" higher than stock, I raised it 2" from where my saggy worn out springs were.
Hey Jason, congrats on the new goodies. About that clunk, was it when you hit the brake you would hear it?? I had the same thing, i tightened up the swaybar bolts and the clunk is gone. Was that the clunk??

My clunk was related to side to side movement while hitting small bumps...so.a rocking motion with the suspension articulating at low speeds which is the only time you can get the rocking motion while loading and unloading the suspension.
If tighting them fixed it, that is a money saving fix. I have replaced mine at least 3 times along with the stabilizer bars once. There are places where you can get just the bushings, but that requires a large press to get the new bushing in, I will just pay the $30 for new links every 75K.
Got yaa Jhand124. I do notice the one stabilizer end bushing is starting to wear out, might be switching mine out soon, thanks. Hey, what happen to your PM link??

I was having trouble joining the MN chapter and so I asked for some help and everything got messed up. I couldn't log on to the forum, now I can but I lost my supporter badge and am having to deal with ads.
