Does anyone have maybe the brackets or the whole flip kit for a 54' they would like to sell. I bought one of those cheep universal jobs and I think it's going to be more work than it is worth.
That's really cool Randy!! Does it really work, as far as keeping the hood from binding on the fenders? I was just concerned as the way the fenders angle in relationship to the hood? I saw one at the Supernats a few years ago and it would bind really bad and chip the paint when opening and closing the hood?
Your's looks like it would work, I would have like to see a close up of the hood and fenders closed and about half way opened?
Thats some cool work!! Maybe we can do that to Fat54's truck? We will just use the cheapo hood flip on my other buddy's project '68-95 Mustang?
Which unit is the cheapo?? I see the CPP is priced close to the No Limit. I just sold my NL for 125.00 (new) to a guy that just wanted parts of it.

AX< whatcha doing???? Can we get a little peek. Can we, can we??
The truck progress is on hold right now while I prepare part of the upstairs of the garage to my studio. We have decided to close our store the end of the year so I can semi-retire, and spend more time on racing and Gracie. I've already shown my first front hinges, but they require mods to the lock panel and grill support for clearance. I may have come up with a better solution, but I don't want to talk about it until I can test it out.

AX, all I can say is geterdone, I've been keeping on eye on your's and Randy Jacks' galleries to see which way I'm going to do mine. My biggest problem is getting everything lined up. I've been thinking of buying one of the kits but would rather use that money somewhere else that will get me closer to getting my panel on the road.
The hinges I have now work. I was trying to avoid the M Mouse double action way the currently available kits work requiring the guide track at the rear, and they do that but do require shaving the bulge at the front of the latch panel for clearance.I may have come up with a more elegant and simpler solution. Right now the front clip is off so I can't test it.
