I identified it as a FE series because it has 5 valve cover bolts, and a intake manifold that goes partway under the valve covers.
Now I would like your help in figuring out which engine it is as far as displacement. Some people have told me that it is a 360 0r a 390 but no one seems certain. Is their a way to tell the difference between the two? 360 vrs 390.
I can't seem to find any numbers on the block. Please tell me the best places to look for numbers.
I am not sure if this is the origional engine as I just bought the truck about one month ago.
Thank You
dwight
