im sure everyone here has heard of the rubberized undercoating for trucks, now i was just looking for peoples opinion on whether if its a good idea to put on a truck that is already 5-6 years old?
I wouldn't use anything other than waxoyl hard wax. You can go right over rust.
Been there done that..Any rubberized stuff will rust under it over time this stuff won't.
i made some " temporary " floor pas for my truck about 12 years ago ad i used underr coatig on both the uderside as well as i te cab ad they still haven't rusted. i'm ow in a complete frame up resturation ad pla o havig it rhio lied after i'm done with it.
I've had great results with Eastwoods rustproofing products. there undercoating is kind of waxy feeling , plus if you sctrach it , it self heals , short of flows back together over the scratch , its avalible in a brown or black color , plus they have the rubberized type too. , Craig.
