Happy
Seems to work fine! Very easy to install. Gonna do some more testing tomorrow.
(The snow is falling right now)
Just a little adjusting on your driving methods like hubs locked in before you get stuck.
Are you far from Oslo if I remember the name right?
I think I am going to drive with the hubs locked during the winter.
What road leaves Bergen going in your direction?
I never realized how much water you have there and how many ferries you also have.
Hardangerfjord is not named on the map I am looking at, none of the fjords are.
I did find a 7 day stay in Oslo, Bergen and Ulvic for 9065 NOK with a couple ferry rides, one of which was a tour of Hardangerfjord, and train rides included and several tours of each city.
Given the latitude and longitude of Bergen 60 North and 5 East, you are well north of me, I am at 39 North and 80 West.
Do you have a lot of snow in the winter?
I assume if you live on a fjord, your elevation is rather low, I am at about 1500 feet at my house.
Here our roads are normally clear between storms, so I unlock my hubs whenI know the roads will be clear.
But if it is snowing when I go up to my truck, the hubs are locked before I leave the driveway.
Every way I can leave my house is up a rather steep hill, looking at the pictures around Bergen I think you have some of those as well.
My house is 15 feet above sea level. But I can`t see the fjord from here.
It hasn`t been much snow the last winters. But it snows often. Snow-rain-snow-rain..... Yes it is a lot of mountans around here. Fishing and hunting are my hobbies. so I am often driving on small mountan-roads up to 1100 meters(about 3300 feet)
A lot of ferries, yes. Actually I work as chief-engineer on one of them; M/F Olen
between Tørvikbyd and Jondal.
Never did find Norheimsund, but I did find Jondal and Torvikbyd, 550 and 49.
So instead of coming home to dinner, I guess we do lunch at work.
That would be great though, I have never been on a boat big enough to drive my truck on.
That looks to be about 6 or 7 miles for the ferry ride?
I wish I was in a position to travel, I really would like to see north western Europe.
3000 feet is less that an hour from my house
5000 feet is about 2 hours or less
But a 6+ mile stretch of water, well Lake Erie is probably the closest at six+ hours away.
