Storing for the Winter

I'm new to my 89 E350 diesel. Not planning to use it for the winter, any suggestions for storage? Does diesel fuel need some type of stabilizer in it?

shmeek,
Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.

I would load the tank up with Diesel Kleen.
Don't forget to trickle charge the batteries about once a month.

If it was close to me while in storage I would start the engine and let it warm up every week or so.
That helps keep water out of the crankcase and oil on everything inside.
A short drive does the same for the transmission and drivetrain.

Get some serious fuel biocide in there to keep algae from growing in the system.
Check at your freindly neighborhood pump shop, and if you don't have one, there's some stuff from FPPF ( one of the few good things they make, don't ever use their Polar Power and expect to not gel up )called Kill-em that you can order online, one bottle will last a very long time
