Computer Question

I was wondering if a 1994 F150 with the 302 is capable of running without the computer. Does the computer call ALL the shots or just the spark? The reason I ask is that I want to run a carb.

This is a hugh can of smelly worms, there are more issues that you suspect.. but to answer your question..
Any motor will run on a carb.. as long as you supply appropriate fuel and spark.
The bigger problem could be your transmission. You have an auto or manual?
