should our trucks be able to spin the tires easy stock with a 5 spd i can get mine to spin but not just by gassing on it gotta dumb the clutch a little

ya my dads 99 is the same way, with a superchip. it will bark them shifting in 3rd with 15 rolls or hay on a 7000# trailer

That sounds about right. I can't break my tires loose just gunning it with an auto unless I power brake, I am turning, or its wet out. These engine really start making power when the turbo is pushing lots of air. From a stop it can't make peak power without the turbo spooled. When doing a drag run thats why its so important to have a 10 or 15 psi boost built at the line before the lights drop.

if i just whack mine it will spin posi but not blow the tires off, it will do a half assed barkin spin thing (if that makes any sense)

if i hit it from anything under 25 it gets sideways... under 40 i hear the read end sliding around (not really squeel normally just a SSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH) and from a dead stop with no boost i literally just sit there and spin the tires for a good 5-10 seconds

yeah let's just say coming home from the movies while it's raining out going 40-45 in the towing tune and flooring it DOES NOT make the girl in the passenger seat very happy.... lol whoops

it's holding up great!!! but isn't that what everyone says before it blows up?!?! haha i haven't been doing any crazy 0-100+mph runs... pretty much just short spurts at high boost levels

Yeah I hear ya. I'm deciding If I should just get the tunes and then the turbo or the turbo/17 first. I prefer to be proactive but it's just to tempting. lol

.....dually rear axle with 19.5" rims and an aluminum flatbed
.....atleast stage II's instead of I's
