my 97 with 410 gears, e40d, chip and split shot injectors would spin the tires from a dead stop. I think the low gears had alot to do with it.

My heavily modded 96 with 3.55 gears wouldnt spin until 35-40 when the torque converter locked.

the modded 99 wont spin the tires until the converter locks at 35-40 then its all i can do to keep it out of the ditch.

I can spin the tires w/ 40ft gooseneck loaded plum full of bulls in 5th gear at half throttle.......from a dead stop. And that's without nitrous.

im pretty sure i just plain dont know proper tire-turning technique. tried the heel-toe thing last night and i couldnt do it. tried to get her going a little in 2 (and 3) and then romp on it and get on the brakes a little and couldnt do it (just stalled her out). im afraid to dump the clutch and obliterate my driveshaft. any tips? learn me! never had anything that could do a burnout other than around corners.

i got the one wheel peel on my truck and it sucks. i dont know if its the 33's or the open diff or what but my truck on dry pavement wont burnout for crap. BUT i sure can get some serious axle wrap going on. scares me so bad i have to get out of it. now wet roads thats another story.

Gotta try backing off those rear brake adjusters too. Had my '84 F150 in a burnout and that was the ticket. 351W bored 30 over where a 302 had been, edelbrock 600cfm, hedman headers, edelbrock intake and 2wd, kinda miss that truck, but sure do love the diesel
