SES and Codes
My SES light has come on and the codes I'm getting are a P0470 EBPS Circuit Error, P1395 & 1396 Glow Plug Monitor Fault Bank 1&2. I need some input as to what would cause these codes to light up my SES light and how do I fix the problems associated with them. Thanks..

well EBPS, its possible bad Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor, the one next to you water pump hose that goes to top of the radiator, and if you never replaced it you tube is possibly full of soot, so is the sensor, take them off or replace,
you GP might be bad( you can ohm them out through the plug) or your UVC harness is bad since its 99 so they dont have clips on them and become disconnected.

Thanks for the info,,, I'll start there and see where it leads me. I've heard and read about the wiring harness problems, Is there a link or info where to buy parts to fix this issue? Again, thanks for the info....

well you can get the clips from friendly Ford dealer, if you harness is ok, you truck might have problem with the harness rubbing through and shorting on rocker arms and other parts. so get the clips, pull the VC off and inspect it, VC gasket is reusable so no worries there.
