yep sub station transformer, had a insulator break at the top of the can and was shorting out to the can. 238kv going to ground, then it finally boiled the mineral oil inside blew the lid off and got hot enough to flash. thats the best carnarge ive ever seen, ive seen some pretty crazy stuff in all the storms but that definately topped it off. there was a cat walkin across the busswork and climbed down an insulator it flashed over and the fault current broke the insulator starting the whole deal

This semi got stuck and had to pull him out..

Deep snow

Also that truck has been gored by a bull when he saw his reflection in the side. the hood has also taken a round from a 308.

Did you get the semi out, and was he loaded or not?

Nice pics, I seen another guy do that with a stuck semi. It was probebly tough, but I think he did it.

Yup pulled him right out.. 4x4 low dose wonders.. he was loaded, tried to turn around on this little road, the jakes on the trailer hit the road bed and lifted both sets of his drive wheels off the ground.. he was blocking the whole road so I had to move hin to get by, I had to unhitch from my horse trailer first. Low range is great I agree. I had to pull start a Semi Loaded and grossed 90 k lbs. (yes he was overweight). I pulled him around the yard about 15 times before it fired. He ran it out of fuel. That was definately the most I have towed.

Not sure but I bet that is close. I had to use 4 low because in 2wd it would spin without any weight on the rear. Actually it pulled it fairly easy. Keep in mind the truck was in gear the whole time also.
