ok well its that time of year again, and i have just done a complete oil change (filter, greased the fitting, etc). my question is what else should i do to winterize my truck? i might change the fuel filter cuz i think its shot. air filter is fine (K&N drop in).
I usually go a hair lighter on oil weight. If you live on the west coast, check the tires and rotate if needed, install new wiperblades. Put some chains behind the seat.
If you stay on top of your maintenance you should not have to do anything, but check that the antifreeze is good to a low enough temp and switch to a 5W30 oil.
