Fuel feed ports?

Fuel feed ports?
So I am thinking though a fuel system for "one of these days". it seems like I remember hearing about someone using the rear end plugs for the fuel rail by drilling them out. Rather than use the 1/8 pipe threaded factory used ports. Anybody have any specifics on that or know if anybody sells them?
