I was tooling around the other night, and came across a diagram for a walker dynomax stainless system. They show the downpipe for manual and automatic, it includes a port for a pyro, and the system seemed a reasonable price. Anybody seen them? Or used them?
Haven't, but a quick word on the pyro. It's best for the sake of protecting your engine to put it Pre-turbo, which would be in the exhaust manifold or uppipe to the turbo. The downpipe location will work, but it won't help you very much as far as keeping the pistons from melting. It will be handy for cool down time, though.
I get to chase another two-spot gauge application with a flip switch. I'm already going to use two sending units for my electrical fuel pressure gauge to be able to check fuel pressure before the rails and on the CCK crossover line downstream of the injectors. I am also planning on using a solenoid 3-way valve to do the same with boost, being able to check on both hot and cold sides at the flip of a switch. Now, I can plan on using two more sending units (or strap-ons) and being able to check pyro at two places.
I just love getting two for not much more than the price of one.
