Another computer build thread...sorry

I'm sorry to start another one of these threads but I'm looking into building a new computer for my sister and I haven't been paying much attention to the new advances in hardware technology lately so I'm a little behind on the times. I took computer engineering and computer science all through highschool so I'm not worried about acutally putting together the thing(plus I'm sure everybody here will be able with problems I run into), just worried about having good parts and them all being compatible. She will be using the computer mostly for internet, viewing pictures and listening to music as well as word processing and things like that.
Here's what I've come up with

Motherboard/CPU/RAM combo-$307.99
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3163514&Sku=MCM-M2NE-5400A
Case-$60.99
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2541414&CatId=1843
Hard Drive-$79.99
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3318110&CatId=2458
DVD Burner-$48.99
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3127312&CatId=482
Extra RAM-$24.97
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1071038&CatId=1649
Video Card-$77.99 ***This is where I'm confused, I know it's probably overkill but it's compatible with two different types of moniter interfaces, and I don't know which monitor she will pick.***
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3244228&CatId=1560
Heatsink Fan-$15.99
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2604150&body=REVIEWS#tabs

Last but not least, she wants Vista will this be compatible with it? If not what changes should I make? Any advice is great thanks!!!

Looks Okay to me as it is something I would build.

One thing I would make sure of is front and rear cooling fans,.

Just the one 1200 mm fan comes with the case ?

Mil1ion, According to the description on the site (way at the bottom of the page) it has two 120mm fans, one front and one back, but I can always add more fans if it's running hot after I'm done. She live's about 10 minutes from the Tigerdirect store in Missisaugua so it'll be a quick trip to make if I need to.

On Edit: I looked again and I don't think it comes with the second fan. Do you think heat will a problem with this setup?

I bought a 2nd fan for my "Swing" case just for the heck of it.

Princess auto sells computer fans in their surplus section.

Looks good. I like Asus motherboards and the AMD is a goood value. Only suggestion I would make is get the Seagate HD.

For $30 extra you get more than double the space and a 5 year warranty.

Has she considered a laptop? Even the cheapest one will do everything you mentioned that she uses a computer for. Plus, Black Friday will soon be here if you can fight your way through the shopping frenzy. Some allow shopping online but you must check their rules & web sight very early in the morning.
