I have a 94 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 Power Stroke. I've had the truck for a little ove two years now. But every since I've owned the truck I didn't think it has carried very good oil pressure. But recently I put a 3-inch down pipe on it and maybe it's just me but it made the interior of the truck alot louder and now it just sounds different. It's worse when it's cold out. But my oil pressure gauge stay right around the O in normal on the gauge.
You will want to checkout the tech forums (click on the Forums tab at the upper left) and scroll over the boards. there is a one for you your of truck and another for your engine. In order to know for sure what the oil pressure is you need to put a tester on it. The gauge's needle only means that there is some pressure and has no relation to how much it has.
