oil flush bad idea?
i have sold a1992 f 150 with 88000 miles,5.0 litre theperson that bought it did a tune up and changed the oil .the engine had 10w30 oil in it at the time. changed to synthetic royal purple,.after the oil change ,oil was noticed in the air cleaner box. at the time the filter was being changed to a k&n. the person that bought the truck went to the local advanced auto store, and a oil flush was suggested. following the oil flush,back to10w30still experiencing oil in the air filter box. ever heard of this happening?
