Oil pressure problems?Try this first!
Had an oil pressure issue on my work truck,a 1986 F-150,302 Efi....Wnen It was cold,oil pressure gauge was about three-eights up.As the truck warmed up,the gauge would drop to low.First thing I thought was oil pump or bearings.But I figured I might as well try the sending unit first.It took all of 2 minutes to remove it(it's right above the oil filter)and cost a whopping seven dollars.....now the gauge is right in the middle where it should be!Just wanted to share this with other members before you go ripping into the oil pan(which would take forever!)
