I'm glad Kevin's back, he did his crime and paid the price. We all have made mistakes some worse than others. I always liked his posts and follow his tow truck project. I am really surprised by some of the posts on this thread. I thought we were better than that.
Sorry for the rant.
So Kevin got popped for some herb. It's almost legal in this state. Heck me sis has cancer and has a script for it. Cant get it filled right now but prolly soon. It's the meth lab next door that bothers me. If my boys never do anything worse than Pot I will be a happy camper. And no I can tell ya that Pot don't make ya do other stuff unless ya was going to to start with. I have been there and done that. I am pretty sure I did it all through the 60's and 70's. The scripts my Doc has me on are just fine now. Isn't it all part of just growing up in this day and age?
So lets shut the heck up about it and get on with the new wrecker build. Keith is a master builder in an old school way with modern equipment. I want to see what he does next. So don't freaking go there guys. Let him build so we can learn and dream.
Some of my best builds where done with a little herb at 4AM when I got the fire built in the shop.
I'm backing up here a bit. I don't know what the circumstances were, but I just ran off at the keyboard not thinking of any ramifications. Sorry for the offending comment if it was taken the wrong way.
To tell the truth I've never, ever have imbibed in the stuff. I've had my chances but never wanted to even try it.
Heck I can even tell you the exact numbers of beers I've drank in my almost 50 years and pretty much the dates. I come from a long line of alcoholics and never wanted to fall into that life. I'm also a very boring person
I would think that my "State" is more related alcohol then demon weed - My prefference is beer, lots of it, with some whiskey and wine thrown in to prove that I wasn't snooty about drinking - Just before I quit the first time I was in Germany and I was drinking about four cases of German beer, 24 one liter bottles, a 40oz Bottle of Jack Daniels, and several liters of wine, some times I would throw in a toke or 2 - This was on a per week basis - I was actually on the delivery schedual of the local brewery - The last time I quit was in 87 and I had tapered off, I didn't drink anymore wine, unless I was in Germany - I was an alcoholic while I was in High School and 20 years in the USAF honed my skills - I like to think that I'm just mixing water with the left over as thats all I drink anymore
Come on Guys. This is FTE not some drug rehab site. Hello, My name is Arctic and I did drugs. What's that got to do with Ford trucks? Can we please drop this?
Stuff happens. We all make mistakes. Some are just bigger than others. Obviously he had a lapse in judgement. Just come out, acknowledge what happened and move on. It's not like there isn't a big elephant still in the room. We know what happened. Stuff like this doesn't get brushed under the rug. Just don't act like nothing happened.

OK OK OK I will admit it. I love the 63 Corvette.
But I'm still floored why ford made the new retro Thunderbird look like the 55 Vette. I mean come on; the 55-57 Tbirds were very cool.

You tell me, which one does it look more like:
Now that's a great way to change the subject! Good job Joe!
Oh, and I hated that new T-Bird and love all the old Vettes.
