Thumbs up

[/img]Well here is the truck. Tell me what you think. Here are my plans:
1. Remove cab
2. Remove front clip hopefully in one piece.
3. Remove engine
4. Order engine rebuild kit
5. Take from to sandblasters
6. Paint frame
7. Have machine work done to engine so it is ready
8. take cab & front clip to sandblasters & pick up frame
9. Order new brake lines and wheel cylinders
10. Paint the Frame orange like last one.
11. Install new brake lines and wheel cylinders.
12. Check brake pads while changing cyl. replace if needed.
13. Wrecker bed will be blasted with frame.
14. Pickup cab and front clip from sandblasters
15. Do necessary body work
4a. Remove guages and electrical wiring from cab. I will put new in.
4b. Have inside of cab sandblasted and primered.

Well this will take about two months I will be taking more pics once the truck is picked up. You know me, I am a planner and a get it done kind of guy.

Kevin, please have the block and cylinder head magnifluxed before you rebuild it.

The early 300's were prone to cracking blocks when they overheated.

Kevin, welcome back. We were afraid you had gotten tired of this crowd around here or changed brands on us. Good luck on the buildup of the new truck. I know you will keep us informed, just don't wear us out, not many can keep up with your pace.

Ok, I went to pick up the truck. the trip down went great. I got there in 3 hours. The person selling the truck had a tow truck, so he pushed it right up onto the trailer. In and out in a half hour. On the way back I got to Hilliard and heard a pop. I knew that sound, a tire was blown. It was about 9:00 pm. People in gas station were no help telling me who in their town did emergency tire repair. I called the truck stops and got three names, none could help. They did give me more names though. After calling about 20 numbers, I decided to call a friend in Massillon to see if Ziegler tire had a store in Columbus. They did, but they no one would take cash or credit card they only did customers with accounts. I had to finally call a big wig as zieglers thank god they are local to Massillon to get them to make a call for me. They did not have the tire so I went to Walmart and bought a tire and they put it on for me. $150.00 service call and $55.00 for the tire. Finally about 12:15 am I was back on the road. I had to have my Titan in the body shop first thing this morning or I would have stayed and fixed the tire in the am. Girlfriends ex of 4 years decided to use his toyota camry to run into my truck about thirty times according to the witness. I had my receiver in the because I was pulling my trailer earlier in the day. He lost Titan won. His car is totalled, Titan has to get new reece hitch, bumper, bed, passenger door, and extended cab passenger door, and whole truck repainted. Life lesson toyota camry no match for reece hitch receiver.

Yes --Kevin's titan kicked that camrys butt--haha!! I was at Kevin's yesterday and since he had a buddy --I did not go to Dayton and he was in good hands---except for the flat tire----that sucks......I got the 272 yblock from the wrecker and the 4 speed home and will put her in service with the same wrecker cab and a F100 frame. I will hopefully get this truck 1/2 done soon and get a head start on Kevin......He will most likely be a whirl-wind and pass me soon enough......He has a good head on his shoulders......I hope the guy who bashed his truck stays away......REAL JERK!!!! Bill
