Thanks everyone. I should have this one done by spring. I went through the growing pains last time. I have a pretty good idea of how to go about everything this time. I will look up the epay number and be back to post it. It sure feels like home being back in. The football team plays it's last game tomorrow. We have a slim chance of making the playoffs so I figure I better get another project. I will have to buy an electric heater though. My garage got too cold last year. I very glad to be back. I have been stopping in to read, but no project to do until now. The cab over was just going to be to slow and hard to get parts for. I hope this one is not too bad. Here is the epay number is anyone can make a link that would be great 260171672248! Tell me what you think. I like the wreckers. I am going to paint it the same colors and have the Tiger logos put on as well.

1969 N600 with a 300 cid H/D 6 cylinder engine and butterfly hood. These N models were made 1964/69. The cab is the same as 1961/66 pickups used. Parts are readily available for the engine, as it was used from 1965 into the 1990's. Cab parts such as weatherstrips, etc have all been reproduced. There's an lady FTE member who restored one of these and posted pics. (it's not a wrecker, tho).
Kevin, for heavens sake...you aren't thinking of installing a 226 flathead engine in this beast are you?

Wow that gives me something to shoot for. I can't wait to pick it up. I might go get it on Wed of this week. I just have to wait to see from the owner. I have not heard from him, but did get a bill. I hope to get the engine out this week and take the body off. I know my dad would be excited about this truck. I am going to get right after it. I hope to have it at the sandblasters this week end. If you think the last one went fast look out!
I think I'm gonna call tlc and tell them you need your own show. Of course your the boss and we need to find you a crew to work with, you can fire a few blow up and go crazy on a few episodes. Then you can finish it a day before the deadline. What would we call it though? I believe you could put boyd out of business by yourself. Your right your dad would be excited about this truck like he was on the last one. Good Luck Kevin and don't be a stanger. JOE P.
LOL! Welcome back bud! Feared you decided to change hobbies, went into the towing business or got washed away in the great OH flood. Of course you're welcome here they even let in us guys with bowties under the bonnet!
You build this one any faster and we'll have to watch the build in slow motion to even see you.
