upfitter switches

Has anybody had any problems(burning up wires, blown fuses, relays) hooking 2 100 watt lights to one 10 amp upfitter switch? I have 2 hooked to the 30 amp, but would like two more hooked to another switch.
switch 1(30)-slip tank pump
switch 2(30)-2 100 watt lights
switch 3(10)-2 55 watt lights(want 100 watts)
switch 4(10)-empty

I don't really want to hook a single light to 3 and 4. It is just easier to find 100 watt lights the 55 watts.

A 100 watt 12v lamp draws 8 plus amps times 2 equals 16 amps total on a 10 amp switch. Hook up a 12 volt relay with the appropriate contact rating off of the 10 amp switch. Fuse the high current wire appropriately (20 or 30 amps??) depending on wire size. Depending on how your truck is configured you may have an empty space for a relay in your existing fuse/relay box.

Thats pretty good advice. Another option if the wire is the same size is replace the ten amp switch with a thirty amp one.

Yep, I'd do the relay and just use the upfitter as a trigger and not a power source as was mentioned.
