Exclamation Stereo

I want to put a nice but smaller stereo for a smaller truck any suggestions pleases tell.
I was thinking of putting A pyle cd receiver. 2 audio bahn 6x9's (200 watts) and An audio bahn 10" (600 watt) sub, for power i was going to run a 4 ch. pyle eternal 1000 watt amp. I was going to cross over so i would have 250x2 and 500x1

I wouldn't waste my money on anything with those name brands on them. They're crap. Stay away from Pyle, Jensen, Pyramid, Audio bahn, Audiovox....get something like Alpine, Clarion, Eclipse...or even JVC if you don't want to spend much.

Pyle, Jensen, Audiovox=Crap.
Now, I've heard some good sounding Audiobahns. For your Headunit, I recommend Pioneer. They have TONS of features. Alpine Headunit is good too. Clarion and Eclipse are in the higher price range, but are good worth it.

Pyramid has some very good quality...but only their speakers. I wouldn't trust anything they make with complicated parts such as a HU or an amp. I have never had a Pyramid speaker fail on me. They don't inflate their RMS wattage much either.

Audiobahn isn't crap, they have some crappy stuff but when you buy their upper range stuff, you're getting good quality. I would stay away from pyle's amps and HU's, and stay away from legacy, logic, jensen and there's more. I don't care for the Pioneer HU's too much, never have really liked them, I have a Blaupunkt HU, and it's great for me, 26 wRMS x 4 channels, and has 7-band EQ and other features. I used to have an Eclipse HU also, but it got stolen but they do have a tracer in them, and whenever they traced mine and found it, it was in such bad shape it looked like someone had taken their anger out on it, so I decided to get a new HU and didn't want to spend the money on another Eclipse even though it was an excellent HU. Clarion has some good stuff also, Crutchfield.com is an excellent site that can tell you quite a bit about car audio, and what's good and not so good. Just stay away from the HU you're looking at, and the sub you're looking at dosn't sound too good either, I'd go with a 12", and delete any site you have on your computer regarding pyle's amps. Go with better quality, I've never heard one but I have had people tell me they really like the Profile amps from Crutchfield, and they're not that expensive.

ive had great success with Rockford Fosgate Subs, kenwood amps, and Panisonic HU's.

i had 2 Rockfords 12" subs being pused by a 600w Kenwood 4ch amp. The amp was way to small for those speakers, over heated and "shut 'er down" many of times, and it was still going strong when i sold my car. Even though the subs were only getting about 150w max (they can handle 400rms) per speaker, they pounded like hell.

I'm not into Audiobahn component speakers or 2-3 way's either, just their subs and amps. I have the 2 subs and I'm maybe putting out 150 wRMS per sub from the amp, but they can stir up a headache in a jiffy. The subs are very good subs, I just need to get a good amp that can power them properly.
