Mine sqeaks when I turn. About every 90 degrees or so. I never really cared, but people always ask me about it. I've never looked into it, but if there's a fix, I'd love to hear it.
Have you checked the steering components? My 250 started making a little noise when I turned the wheel - re-greased all the fittings and it went away. Might actually be in the column though...
My 76 f150 just started to have a squeak with any movement of the steering wheel. I shot a little PB Blaster (WD 40 type lube) on the shaft through the gap below the steering wheel. Took about a day, but it stopped. Joe
Rubber boot where it goes through the firewall or where the steering wheel material contacts the plastic casing that covers the steering column. WD40 on the shaft and rubber boot, Vaseline or Chapstick between the steering wheel and the column cover.

If it's up top, there is a little bearing there. If you pull the wheel a little motorcycle chain lube will work to lube it without having to remove the turn signal assembly. It will run into the bearing and thicken. Joe
