LTBs are they good?

Has anyone tired the LTBs? If so are they as good as they say in the ads. I want a good set of mud tires and these are the cheaper than the boggers. so can you please give me your input

I have a set of 34 10.50 on my truck. They are great offroad, just do not use them in the sand. They will dig like no tomorrow.

The "TSL" lug design is one of the best on the market, and has been for a long time. I actually believe it is a better tire for all around use, and these tires are available in a radial.
The bogger is the best mud tire and there is no comparisson, but any of the TSL design tires are fantastic (we are taliking about any of the triple stage lug tires).
I have run the original TSL up to 44 inches and was very happy with them. I run a bogger now, and they wrk very well, even in sand (79f150toy may need to air down and turn the tires a little faster, even a paddle tire digs, that is the idea, wheel speed and displacing sand. Just floating with a full size truck is difficult.)
My boggers work well in one direction where the TSL works in both giving it a slight advantage.
Don't think you can go wrong the any of the TSL swampers.

I have not have much of a problem with them cleaning themselves out. But some of that depends on wheel speed. Be advised these tires are a little thin, so they look funny(depending on taste) but I only care about performance and they have not let me down. I have 4.10s and a 70 460 and I think it is a great combo. Last winter we has a few inches of snow and they surprised me as they did excellent. I also climbed a 50 foot hill of fill dirt and it climbed right up the hill(tached the heck out of the engine...all four tires screaming but we got up it. it was fun)....Oh on the beach, I aired down to 8lbs and due to the thick side walls, they didnt do too much and I certainly didnt want to break a bead. they are a skinny tire and doesnt disperse the weight good enough. I just had to tach the engine pretty high to keep it goin and during the summer months it gets pretty hot and the engine(and tranny) runs a little too warm for my liking. Since then I used my 32 12.5 mickeys and they work flawless.

How are they for wear? I like the price, but do they last 30,000-40,000 miles?

If you are looking for mileage and are willing to compromise a little off road performance, invest in the TSL radial, like the SX radial or SSR. I have over 30K (miles) on a set of 38" SSR's. Starting to get pretty loud now and need to be replaced, but they have served very well on road and off.

I run the 33 13.50 15 ltb's and love them and they are about 1/4 inch shorter than the 34 inch ones in a tape measure test. i have run lots of differetn swampers and have to say i like them the best. they dont wear all that bad espically for a swamper but hook up awsome in the mud and dirt. and the width works good ind sand as well.
